Windows 10: scvhost.exe is being blocked by firewall

I first got the notification from free avast software saying "MALWARE BLOCKED-no action is required" from the file source C:\Windows\System32\scvhost.exe. I ran a full scan to detect the malware yet found nothing. Thinking maybe it was a trojan masking itself, I switched to Bitdefender and had the same problem. I also looked at suggestions online to find it manually and it seems like the file belongs to where it should be.

Now my all my Service Host activity is constantly being blocked and I do not know what to do or how bad it is, please help and tell me what I can do. Thank you so much in advance.

Windows Firewall blocks App Store from downloading new apps

Let's try to check if the app store you're referring to if it's really blocked by Windows Firewall. See these steps:

• Open Windows Firewall from the taskbar >
  Firewall & network protection > Allow an app through firewall.
• A new window will show up containing the list of the apps that ca be allowed through Firewall.
• Look for the app you want to be accessed, and make sure that the Domain, Private and Public are ticked. That would allow the app store to be accessed.

you're blocking the correct EXE file, we suggest using Resource Monitor by following these steps:

• Click the Network tab.
• Look for the EXE file for your program, assuming that it's currently accessing the Internet. If the EXE has a different file name than what you expected, use that file name instead when you specify the program path in Windows Firewall.
