Windows 10: Windows firewall crashes on cold boot

Hi,

recently i've seen some issues with windows firewall crashing on cold boot and with that RDP fails to connect to servers. Although the issue is gone when reboot is done. And when the issue is ongoing, trying to open windows firewall settings from control panel also crashes, as control panel becomes unresponsive.

So far i've tried to disable 3rd party AV, done the disk check for corrupted files and reinstalling windows firewall service and configuration.
Logs wont seem to hint at anything either.

Few bits of additional information:
* windows version: 10.0.18362.0
* Laptop model: Lenovo 20HF003NMX

Vista 32bit crash on cold boot

my vista 32 crashes on cold boot during the booting screen [the one with the little bits of dots that go in a loop]

it only does it on cold boots, never ever ever warm boots, and every single cold boot, is there a place in the registry where actions are performed "only on cold boots"?

 

Windows 10 crashing on cold boot

OK, I did a clean installation of the Intel Wireless Drivers using the driver on my PC manufacturer's website, shut down, then turned the machine on and NO ERROR!!

That's the first time in the last 3-4 times I've cold booted that I haven't gotten a crash on cold boot.

Hopefully, that was the problem. Thank you SO MUCH for your help.

 

Vista 32bit crash on cold boot

Could be a hardware configuration problem. My Windows Vista machine never has any troubles booting- cold or warm.
