Windows 10: Your Phone not showing proper message

I've been having a severe problem with Your Phone for the last several updates. It's driving me mad. At first I thought I was just loosing it, but I went ahead and took screen shots this time to prove that Your Phone is having problems.


The situation is, I get a notification that I received a new message. I can see the notification in action center saying something, then I open Your Phone to find rather than the message that's showing in action center or in the list of contacts with message preview, it's a totally different message. The message looks valid, because it's an -old- message. I've created an image from the screen shots. At 8:28 A.M. I get a message, I bring up Your Phone, I can see in the contact list message preview that the message in the message list doesn't match upand it's not the same that's in action center. I exit Your Phone and start it back up. Now I've got the correct message textnote, both have the same timestamp. I then scroll back and find the message it was display was from 17 hours prior! This is Your Phone 1.20051.90.0, last updated, yesterday. It's been happening randomly for about two weeks now and at least 3 different app updates. I would bother tracking down the version of Your Phone on my Android phone, but, since the action center preview and the contact list message preview both have the correct message, the issue wouldn't be with the mobile device app.

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

When my phone fails to upgrade I just keep trying. One upgrade took 3 or 4 tries.
