Windows 10: need phone contact with Windows 10 tech -

Had Windows 7 Home - 32 bit with 4 Gig of RAM - Activated

Upgraded to Windows 10 Home - 32 bit - Activated


Wanted to upgrade to Windows 10 - 64 bit

Installed Windows 7 Pro - 64 bit - Activated

Could not upgrade to Windows 10 Pro as "Windows has encountered an error"

After several attempts, "wiped" the hard drives


A clean install of Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit perhaps on the second hard drive was successful, but it would not activate using the previously valid Windows 7 Pro - 64 bit product key.


The computer still shows in my Microsoft account shows as Desktop - L202DBM - will try the ID number as a digital license while awaiting a response.


This is, to me at least, confusing, but if you wish to call me ---


If you feel it necessary, I can wipe the drive again, reinstall the Windows 7 Pro 64 bit operating system, activate it, update, then try to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro - 64 bit again, but, hopefully, you can find an easier solution.

Deleting contacts from Windows 10


When you say Windows Mail Live are you referring to Mail app or Windows Live Mail?

I suggest you to try the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Open Windows Live Mail.
• Press Ctrl + 3 using your keyboard. Right-click on the contact to delete it if it is a single contact.
• Highlight all contacts by pressing Ctrl + A.
• Click Delete located on the Ribbon bar.
• Click OK when you see the message These contacts will also be deleted from Hotmail, Messenger, and other Windows Live services.

After following the steps above, all your contacts that you have manually added to your account will be deleted however, contacts coming from third-party sites such as Facebook will not be deleted unless you remove Facebook from your account.

For Mail app:

Open People app then delete the contact.

Hi

When I use the phone app on My PC and enter the first letter of the contact I wish to send a message too
It will show the name list of the contacts I wish to send it too - the names from my mobile phone contact list
And then select the name to send message too
