Activity history - how to access files via desktop apps only

After the last update, when I use Activity history, it takes me to online cloud files via a browser rather than just straight to the desktop applications & files.

I want to change this to only access files via the desktop apps. How do I do that?

    :)

  2. File history on USB security user access

    Hi,

To isolate this concern, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Open File History folder.
    • Select all the files that you don't want to be accessed.
    • Right-click on the highlighted files and choose Properties.
    • Go to Security tab.
    • Click on Advanced.
    • Select all the user account that you don't want to have access on your File History folder.
    • Click on Disable inheritance.
    • Lastly, click on OK.

Let us know how it goes.

    File History Question

I’m not sure how to re-add the folder. So what I did do was to
manually back up all folders. When I did that, I DID have more listings in documents and pictures.

What appears to be occurring is this:

After doing the steps to allow offline access, it seems that File History is capturing those files.
However, I don’t understand why the files were not captured during normal scheduling which is every 12 hours.

What I have been looking for is a listing of ALL of my document and picture files, before and after activating offline access.

So, what I am saying is, File History may be working, but it will not show any document or picture files prior to my offline activation.

    Your thoughts.
