Windows 10: OneDrive will not open/launch on my computer

One drive will not sync/open/launch on my windows 10 OS. I have tried uninstalling, and it will not uninstall. I have tried updating my windows program V.1809 and it still will not open/sync/launch. It does not show up in my 'hidden icons'. All files are still on my computer, however I am unable to open any.


Please advise.

Windows 10 - OneDrive

Right click on the app and one of the properties has an option to not automatically start it. Uncheck, restart the computer, and it should stop. If you want to go another step further, find the OneDrive app in the start menu, right click on it and uninstall.

If that is still insufficient, there is a batch uninstaller for OneDrive available online. I can copy the code here if you need it.

 

Launching OneDrive

After installing Windows Phone 8.1, I am unable to launch OneDrive either from the live tile on the start screen or the applications list on the Lumia 520. Please advise, how may I resolve the issue.

 

OneDrive not sync, settings not launching

We're sorry to hear the inconvenience you have experienced.

I suggest you to open Settings, through
Start Menu or press Windows Key + R,
then type ms-settings: into the run command and hit Enter and check if you are able to open settings.

In case problem still persist, then try the below mentioned troubleshooting steps.

Use the DISM tool and System File Checker for repairing any missing or corrupted system files:

• Click Start.
• Type cmd, and then press CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to open elevated command prompt (I.e. Command prompt with admin rights).
• If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click
  Continue.
• Type or copy paste the below command lines one by one into it and hit Enter:

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth


DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth


sfc /scannow

To close the Administrator: Command prompt window, type Exit, and then press Enter. Reboot your system to see if problem still occurs.
