Windows 10: 3 monitors worked before but not now.

so I had a hard time changing my fount size on my third screen so I clicked the "get help" button in the settings. the tech that "helped" me made delete everything under my display adapter drive. he also made me download intel graphics 4000 instead of whatever I had before. now I am only able to use two of my three screens at one time. also everything under the settings for display is not working correctly. I have been dealing with the techs from Microsoft for a week now, even the level 3 techs, and still no solution. Dell said they should have never done this. By doing this they removed the original driver software from the bios and Microsoft will not be able to fix this without contacting them. When you first turn on your computer and see the dell logo if you hit F2 it will take you to the bios. This is something I picked up off the dell site. On that screen it should say display configuration as well as everything else required to run your computer. It says nothing about display any more because it was uninstalled from the device when the tech from the help line told me to delete everything under the display adapter drive. Microsoft is admitting they are not able to do anything when it comes to the bios. But for some reason they are refusing to contact dell to have there errors repaired. that is my current situation. Any idea on how I can get my monitors working? Or better yet any ideas on how I can get Microsoft to contact someone who can fix my computer since they admitted they can not?

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps you.

  Right click "Start" and select "Control Panel" (Open classic Control Panel).
  
• 
  In the right corner -> View by: "Small Icons".
  
• 
  Display.
  
• 
  Change Display Settings.
  

Now you will see the traditional display configuration screen.

• 
  Select ("black/gray") extended monitor.
  
• 
  Make sure "Multiple displays" is not set to "Disabled.
  
• 
  Select apply once done for all displays.

Surface Laptop 3 with external monitor

Hi All,

Has anyone come across an issue with an external monitor blacking out while connected to a Surface Laptop 3? I have the laptop connected to a widescreen laptop with the Surface Dock. Both work fine however, once every hour or so the external monitor blacks out and comes back.

I've completed the following:

• Updated laptop drivers and firmware
  • Updated monitor drivers
  • Swapped out monitor
