Windows 10: Microsoft Store won't let me download games onto my D Drive

I never was able to download stuff onto my d drive, but yesterday I bought the game pass and was able to download Sea of Thieves onto my d drive somehow. Now I want to download another game but it isn't showing up. I can download onto my d drive with every other app such as steam, epic games, etc but not the Microsoft. I tried changing my default downloading spot which did nothing, and I can't figure out what else that I can try doing.

when I download a game from the Microsoft store it won`t play

the splash screen appears then goes

I have a core i5 with an nvidivia graphics card I tb hdd and 8 gb ram

I have tried the diagnostic for microsoft store and it say cache may need fixing.

Do you have a WindowsApps folder on your D Drive that contains the previous installations of those games and are you unable to delete that folder?

If so:

Click your Start Button, then just type cmd

From the resulting list, right click Command Prompt and choose 'Run as Administrator'

Run each of these commands, one at a time and hit Enter

(Replace X with the appropriate drive letter)

takeown /F "D:\WindowsApps" /A /R /D Y

icacls "D:\WindowsApps" /T /grant administrators:F

rmdir /s /q "D:\WindowsApps"

Then close Command Prompt and restart (not shut down) your PC . . .

Maybe I Install a Windows 7 again, At least, all of my games run smoothly ...Sadness!!
