Windows 10: menu items on paint brush not showing

I some how messed up with paint brush. The home icon in the screenshot below when I click then





the menu comes.



previously this was not the case. Any time I open paint brush all the items in menu used to come.So I think some setting got changed. What could this be and how can it be restored please let me know.

1. One thing I do not like about the Fresh Paint app is that the paint in the brush is unending. It is most apparent in the water color where, if you are brushing in a background color, each stroke adds paint so you get layers of dark versus like. In
real paint, you can feather out the paint as the brush runs out of paint or even use a dry brush to thin it. Is there a way to get the program to act more like that.

2. It would be great if the brush head actually showed up on the screen - in scale - so that you can turn it one way to get a broad stroke and another to get a thin stroke rather than having to change to a different brush. Is there a way to do that?

Please be informed that right now there is no option to make the brush head show up on the screen - in scale and also the paint in the brush is unending i.e., you don’t need to keep clicking on the color to re-fill.

As you want these features to be added in the Fresh paint app you may please provide the feedback about the same.

Follow the steps:

• Go to Start, enter the phrase Windows Feedback, and then select Windows Feedback.
• See if someone else has given similar feedback by entering the topic, such as Microsoft Music.
• If you find similar feedback, select it, add any details, and then select
  Me too.
• To narrow your search to a specific category, pick the category that most closely matches your feedback (so it gets to the right people quickly). For example, for feedback about the Music app, select Apps > Music.
• If you don’t find any similar feedback, select New Feedback, and choose a topic from

Brushes for MS Fresh Paint

Thank you for your answer Mark. Very helpful.

I also found out that Sensu makes electronic brushes to use on Surface Book and they are compatible with Fresh Paint app.
