No Sound from Galaxy Buds on Windows 10

I've tried to look up solutions to my problem, but nothing seems to work. When I connect my galaxy buds to my desktop via Bluetooth, the pairing works just fine, so I don't believe it's an issue with the Bluetooth hardware in my PC. It pairs, says it's ready, but then no audio comes out of the earbuds.

Looking through the playback devices, the green bars go up, signifying that audio is playing, but nothing comes through.

This doesn't seem to be an issue with the earbuds themselves, as my laptop which also runs Windows 10 has no issue pairing with the earbuds and playing audio through them.

I've tried reinstalling and updating Bluetooth drivers, resetting the buds, messing with the sound settings, and checking the buds's properties, but nothing seems to work.

The only discrepancy I can see between my laptop and desktop is the symbol that I am given when connecting via Bluetooth. On my laptop, the buds show up with a headphones symbol; on my desktop, it shows up with a phone symbol for some reason. I'm assuming this is part of the issue, but I can't seem to figure out what's wrong.

Is there anything that could help me resolve this problem?

    :)

  2. Windows 10 can't control volume with Galaxy Buds connected

I was having the same problem with my HP Pavilion so I tried all the same steps as you, but had no luck and
I found that volume control was stuck on 20 for some reason. I tried resetting my Galaxy Buds from my phone and that worked temporarily then stopped.

I then restarted my laptop as I never really turn it off - and that worked instantly, I can now turn up and down the volume for my Galaxy buds using the volume keys on my keyboard. Try turning your laptop on, then restart it and check if the volume keys
are working. It would also be a good idea to restart your laptop every once in a while to prevent bugs like this in future.

  3. Samsung Galaxy Buds crash the Windows Audio Service

    Hi Mike,

You may want to try these steps:

    Bluetooth audio

If Bluetooth is turned on and the driver is up to date but your device still doesn't work, try removing the device and re-pairing it.

Here's how: Go to Start , enter Devices, select Bluetooth and other devices settings > select the device > Remove device > Yes and then try pairing again.

Make sure that the Bluetooth-enabled audio device is on and discoverable.

How you do this varies with devices, so check the info that came with your device or go to the manufacturers website.

If these won't work, try to uninstall the driver and reboot your system.

Then install again the driver for your Galaxy Buds.

Please let me know what will happen.

    Thanks and regards,

No Sound from Galaxy Buds on Windows 10

Bleutooth headphones Galaxy Buds TouchPad types characters in Remote Desktop (RDP)

I use Galaxy Buds (bleutooth headphones) on my Laptop. On the Buds there is a touchpad that can be used to control my phone (if they are connected to the phone).

From my Laptop i use a remote desktop connection to my work PC (a virtual machine). Now if I touch the buds, a character is typed into the VM (single touch is a 'g', double touch a 'p' and tripple a 'q'.

When I do this on my laptop, nothing happens.

In my Remove Desktop configuration, under 'local devices and resources', I have only 'shared' the C-drive of my laptop. (no priters, clipboard, etc.).

How is this possible? And how can I stop this?
