Windows 10: Laptop suddenly won't upload photos

I have a Nikon D3400 camera and until yesterday I was able to upload photos to my laptop via a USB cable. Today the laptop still recognises the camera and tells me how many photos are in the card, but the button to upload them to the laptop never appears.

Can't upload photos to ebay since upgrading to windows 10

I am receiving the following message when I try to upload photos for a new listing. (We only allow photos that are saved as JPEG, GIF, PNG, or BMP formats. Please try again with a photo that uses one of these formats.) All of my photos are in JPEG format
and I still can't get them to upload. I never had any problems until now. I upgraded to Windows 10 recently. Does anyone else have this problem? I can't list anything because it won't upload any photos. I know it has something to do with Windows 10 because
I tried uploading photos using my sisters laptop which has Windows 7 and it worked fine on the same exact photo.



I have tried just about every thing I can do and still can't get it to work. Please help...I haven't listed anything since August due to this issue.

I am using IE 11 as my browser. Is this a supported browser?

Suddenly I can't upload photos to Facebook

I use Facebook regularly so this is a new problem which has just started.
On the FB page when I click upload photo, instead of opening one of my folders to find the photo, it simply hangs with the little twirling circle.
I noticed this first on my laptop on a FB group I manage, so tried the same on my FB Home Page and everything worked OK. I checked other pages and the same problem.
Then I tried on my PC and found that even on my Home Page I have the same problem.
On Google some suggested clearing the cache etc which I did - no help.
I have tried logging out and in again - no solution.
Any ideas would be most welcome.
