Windows 10: Second monitor is showing the same as the first

Hello guys

I have been using two of the same monitors for about 1 year now, and it worked fine. But i wanted to change my resolution for windows. After trying it in the AMD Radeon Software Graphics: AMD Radeon RX 580, i told me that the resolution i want 1750x1080, is not compatible with my monitor which isnt true, i have been using that resolution for 3 years with my old pc, which had the same two monitor setup with that resolution on one of the two monitors. I wanted one monitor to be 1750x1080 and the other one to be native. So I downloaded CRUCustom Resolution Utility and did everything what i had to. After switching the resolution in Windows then, i had a blackscreen, which didnt want to end. So i used the restart button at my PC. After it rebooted, both monitors were showing me the same thing and i couldn change it with for example WIN+P or in the Display settings. Can anyone help me with that?

Windows 10 doesn't show native display for second monitor

In order to for your Windows 10 to show the native display for the second monitor, you may revert all screen settings back to default, and see if this resolves the issue. If it doesn't, you may try these steps:

• Press Windows key + P.
• If your monitor settings is on Duplicate, try choosing
  Extend.
• If your monitor settings is on Extend try choosing the
  Duplicate.
• Check the resolution if both monitors are showing the same resolution value.

Second monitor screen resolution problem

Auto-hide taskbar on second monitor only.

Please let us know which build are you currently in?

If you are in build number: 14342, I suggest you to follow the steps below to
hide taskbar on second monitor and check if it helps:

• 
  Right click on the Taskbar and Go to
  settings.
  
• 
  Click on the taskbar option.
  
• 
  Under Multiple displays you can turn off the option for
  Show taskbar on all displays.
