    Error Code: 0x80073cf3 when installing Minecraft Dungeons from Xbox game pass for PC Beta


    I have the Xbox game pass for PC but I'm not able to download Minecraft Dungeons or Alan Wake. However, I am able to download every single game off the platform. I am running the latest version of windows at the moment and I've basically tried every solution known to man. Is this an error on my side or on Microsoft's?

    Application Fails after Xbox Game Pass PC Beta

    Just did 2 Clean installs of Windows 10 1909.

    The first install i did all windows updates/Driver updates then installed xbox pc beta game pass then installed 2 games and then attempted to install dragon center from MSI. it installed and then failed to run with the same errors i was getting before.

    The second install i installed driver updates and then installed Dragon Center. Configured the system with Dragon Center. Then installed all windows updates, Xbox pc beta game pass and then installed a game and played. Dragon center still worked after playing
    the game. once i restarted the computer dragon center was broken with the same errors as before. Something is breaking the program in the xbox pc game pass install.

    Troubleshoot game installations on Windows 10

    RESTART YOUR PC

    As basic as this is, a simple restart can set many things right.

    ERROR MESSAGE

    If there’s a download error, first try downloading again.

    If the installation keeps failing, in most cases you’ll see an error code with a message. These are generally 10-character codes that start with “0x.” For example, 0xC03F7003.

    FOR GAME PASS GAMES, CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR PLAN

    To install games from Xbox Game Pass, you must have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta) plan.

    Make sure you’re signed in to Microsoft Store and/or the Xbox (Beta) app—whichever you’re installing from.

    Make sure your Xbox Game Pass membership is current by signing in and checking the status.

    Make sure your PC is online. If needed, see Fix network connection issues in Windows.
