Windows 10: Windows 10 missing "Update and Shutdown"

Windows 10 used to have the option to "Update and Shutdown" in addition to just "Shutdown". Now, I have "Update and Restart" but no "Update and Shutdown" option, just Shutdown.


I have a laptop that doesn't like restarts - it tends to turn off the monitor on a restart. The only way to fix this problem is to hold the power button until it turns off, wait 5 seconds, then turn it on again. I know this can be a problem for the updates it tells you "Don't turn off your PC".


How do I get this option back and how do I get windows not to do multiple restarts while installing new options? Right now, I have to sit here and watch the laptop and hopefully turn it off when it does an update and then turn it on instead of doing restarts.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

• Select Troubleshooting from the results.
• Under System and Security, select Fix Problems with Windows Update.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
