  1. Radeon drivers possibly not working

Hello, everytime I try to play games GTA online, Forza Horizon 4 and drl sim the game just unexpectedly freezes and closes for what seems no apparent reason. I am on a fresh installation of Windows 10 and have tried reinstalling the drivers multiple times to no success, my reasoning for thinking its the GPU's drivers is that it only happens when I use graphically intensive programs and not while I am just surfing the web or typing in a document.

I also get low refresh rates when my PC has just started up I guess its around 30hz while my monitor is set to 144hz and it only goes back to normal after I get a black screen for a second or two, which leads me further to believe that it has to do with the GPU.

I would greatly appreciate any help with this as it's quite annoying

    My specs are:
    Ryzen 5 3600X
    RX5700XT
    16GB 3000mhz

    Installed drivers:
    Asrock Utility
    AMD radeon software
    AMD Ryzen Master
    B450 Chipset driver

    Edit: did some formatting

    :)

  2. Driver Error AMD Mobility Radeon HD 5000

ok, it didn't work after all. windows update has seemingly installed another
driver update for my amd mobility radeon hd 5000, this time breaking it again.

i tried what you suggested step by step, but that didn't work either. I'll try it again with running a win 7 driver in compatibility between steps two and three and keep you posted on the results.

ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics Driver is not working properly.

Did you happen to try the workaround from the post I linked earlier?

The method suggested was as follows:

    <in Control Panel>

open Device Manager, select Display adapters

Right click ATI Radeon (or generic graphics adapter if listed that way) and select Properties

    Click "Update driver"

    Click "browse"

Click "Let me pick from a list"

select (AMD or ATI) driver version 8.970.100.9001 from 2015 and install that

    Radeon drivers possibly not working

    AMD FX OC'ers Club

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
