Help Consolidating Files Under One User Name

    - I have multiple Microsoft usernames and want to combine all my folders, files, pictures, and apps under one username. After a crash on my previous computer, the name of the user me was truncated - for example: aaabbbccc@**** to aabbc. I now have a new computer. Even though I tried to copy all of the above to one user account on the new computer - the shortened username is still shown as the owner with files, etc.

    - How can I have one user name take ownership of all files, photos, docs, and apps? All of the user names are now set to administrators even the local acct and share data. The current situation has different usernames User X associated with some apps/files while others are associated with User Y.

    - When I'm signed into one account and want to delete something which has another username associated with it I get a message which basically says "bad things are going to happen to either/both users because I am deleting a file, app, etc.

    - This is maddening and has made the joy of my new computer a nightmare. Please someone help!!!

    Thanks, Ann

    :)
