    Screen went black and now washed out colors.


    I've tried everything i've seen so far, the color calibration, checking settings, everything. I was in a call when the screen went black and after a few seconds came back, when it came out the colors were very washed out. What should i do, please help!

    Washed Out Color Screen

    To bring back your colors after Windows 10 Updates:-

    Rt. click on desktop screen.

    In the black panel that comes up:-

    Left click on graphic properties.

    Left click on basic mode, (or advanced mode).

    Left click on color enhancement.

    Adjust saturation and colors as needed.

    Saturation adjustment seems to make the biggest change to washed out colors.

    Press OK.

    Bingo! Your colors are back, it took me ages to find this out.

    Awful washed out colors in Windows 10. Happens intermittently

    I wonder why nobody has suggested the OP to make a screenshot of display showing these "washed out colors"? Everything I have read in this thread suggests that the issue is not in Windows, but instead in display / monitor.

    My suggestion: next time you'll see these washed out colors, make a screenshot and post it here. If the screenshot shows us that colors are OK, then the issue is your monitor failing.
