The problem here is a repeating problem it seems.

I have:

The latest updates on my computer Win 10, upgraded recently a few months ago from Win 8.1,

I am using a different firewall which is at least just as effective as any other firewall: Training mode tried, along with a temporary Deactivation. Didn't help.

Activation of Windows Defender Firewall didn't help, not even with the other firewall deactivated.

Antivirus if fully updated both on Program, and virus definitions and scanned this morning.

This problem started today 2020-06-01


Anyone have more suggestions?

Same problem with Minesweeper error code 002000. Is anybody at Microsoft Games looking into this ?

 

Windows 10 fails to update


When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.
