WindowsApp Folder Corruption - no apps work

I am at my wits end with this problem. I have followed multiple forum posts here to try and get my Windows 10 fixed, Including doing a clean install. Even after a clean install, I am getting issues with opening apps. I have tried with a new user, I have tried removing and reinstalling the apps via PowerShell, I currently only have Windows Defender on my current install, I have tried doing wsreset.exe, nothing shows up on a SFC or DISM scan. I have also tried repairing these items from the apps settings menu. Nothing works. When I try to use anything related to the apps store Microsoft Store, Skype, Mail, Calculator, Solitaire, etc it just never opens.

I gave myself temporary permissions to just view the files in the WindowsApp folder - and there seems to be multiple sets of data for these apps. Is there any way to just be able to get a working version of everything in WindowsApp and delete the current contents and replace it with the uncorrupted contents?

I did the fresh install from the WindowsCreation Tool using Upgrade and chose to not keep any files. I am on my final step of doing a fresh install from USB through the WindowsCreation tool. If this doesn't fix it, I have exhausted everything that I know and have found.

    :)

WindowsApps folder says permissions are corrupted and need to be deleted, is this normal or critical?

According to your description, I suggest you try the following steps:

    1. Navigate to the location C:\Program Files.
    2. Right-click on the WindowsApps folder, and select Properties.
    3. Turn to Security tab and click on Advanced.
    4. Click on Change and then type Users in Enter the object name to select area.
    5. Click on OK, then click Apply > OK. You can also add the TrustedInstaller to the users list and check if it takes effect.

However, you might be still not able to access the files. The workaround is to go inside the C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\, and repeat the same way with the Microsoft.WindowsStore* folders.
