Windows 10: Screen auto rotation Lenovo Yoga issue

My rotation lock became grayed out and the screen no longer automatically rotated, but after disabling YMC I was able to get the toggle button usable again. However now when I put my yoga in tent or tablet mode the screen doesn't auto rotate for the new device orientation. I'm still able to toggle on and off rotation screen lock; it's not grayed out... to get the screen to rotate I have to manually change the orientation is settings. I've been in the registry and everything looks okay. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Screen Auto-rotation not working

I have a new Lenovo Yoga P40 tablet with Windows 10. The screen doesn't auto rotate upon rotating the tablet. The auto-rotate option isn't even available in the display settings.

 

Lenovo Yoga Rotation

After updating my BRAND NEW Lenovo Yoga, the screen no longer rotates in tablet mode and the rotation lock is 'on' but is greyed out and will not let me edit it. How do I fix this ASAP? I use the tablet mode for school and work and need it, it was the
purpose of buying this computer.

 

Auto Screen Rotation on Lenovo Flex 2 14

Thanks for responding. I followed steps suggested by you but this is the end result. There is no 'Allow the screen to auto rotate'
option on the screen as you see in the screenshot.

Plus, as you asked for, my laptop model number is Lenovo Flex 2-14 (20404).

Kindly resolve this issue asap. It is so irritating to have a facility and not using it cuz of some windows issue.
