Firewall service is disabled and as you see above it's grayed out and i can't change anything , so i need help on how to fix this and turn it back on

Keep in mind that this issue occurred before installing an antivirus , but i recently installed kaspersky and ran a full scan to find out any virus or malware that may be causing this and then i cleaned and deleted everything that was a found but that didn't fix it , so it isn't an antivirus that blocking the firewall or a malware .

    :)

  2. How to turn windows firewall service off permanently?

When I disable the firewall service then it stays disabled. If this is different on your machine then you must have some agent that keeps re-enabling it. You now need to find this agent. Here are a few steps you need to take:

    • Run services.msc and disable the service. Close services.msc, then re-open it 5 minutes later. Is the service enabled or disabled?
    • Reboot the machine into Safe Mode with Shift+Restart. Is the service enabled or disabled?

Yeah, I have windows firewall disabled, and I don't use any other firewall... mostly to prevent stupid issues like this.

None taken... and yeah, I do.

Enabling windows firewall in windows 10

    Hi,

What happens when you try to enable Windows Firewall? Does the edition of Avast have firewall feature in it? If a 3rd party firewall exists in the system, Windows Firewall is disabled.

    Right-click Start, click Control Panel

    Click Security and Maintenance

    Click "Security" to expand it.

What's listed there for Network firewall?
