    Memory Management Problem


    Hello,


    Almost every two weeks I get a BSOD and most recently the message was


    The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001a 0x0000000000061948, 0x0000000001008000, 0x0000000000000001, 0x0000000001008000. A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: 8247e5dd-1172-4cf3-a2c2-df8abaa3d9b1.


    I have tried to run the windows memory diagnostic test but it reboots and then won't start the memory test. I mean the screen is there for 2 seconds and then it reboots.


    I thought it might be RAM so I bought a new slot of 16 GB and it still won't do the memory test. In total I've got 32GB DDR4 2666hz

    BSOD- memory management

    Upon checking the dump file, the issue is being caused by ntoskrnl.exe. Ntoskrnl.exe is the one responsible for memory management that is why you're having the Memory Management error. We suggest that you follow the steps found in the link that we provided
    in our last reply to resolve the issue. Please take note that if you're overclocking your processor or video card, kindly reset their settings to default.

    Let us know the outcome after performing the provided steps.

    Missing/outdated driver and error with your PC memory (RAM) are some of the factors that may cause the blue screen due to Memory Management error. To effectively assist you with your concern, we'd like to ask the following:

    • Have you made any recent changes on your device prior to your concern?
    • What are other troubleshooting steps have your performed to resolve your concern?

    While checking for the dump file that you've sent, we suggest that you run a full scan on your device using the
    SFC and DISM command to automatically fix any corrupted files that my possibly trigger the error. The steps can be found on this

    The reason why you're having issues with your memory is can be due to corruptions. To better isolate your concern, we'd like to gather more information:

    • Are you referring to your Hard Drive?
    • What happen to your Hard Drive after the update?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
