    Upgraded CPU i5 3330 to a used i5 3570k PC will not boot , multiple errors.


    Should be simple no reinstall needed. But upon trying to boot errors such as system thread exception not handled , IRQL not less than or equal , and so on. Even saw one like stack overflow !!! WTH I even did a clean install from a USB after wiping the drive for hours and only mouse/KB installed. Same thing.

    Is this a sign of a defective CPU ? I thought they either worked or didn't work.

    3570k is listed as compatible for my MOBO and should be simple drop-in and reboot. Wasted hours doing this. Put old 3330 back in fires right up !

    And YES , I even tried clear CMOS and loading defaults with 3570k Even re-flashed BIOS. Nothing helps.

    Recovery console can't fix it either.

    I5 3330 to i5 3570k

    for OC reasons is great deal!
    again for the games seems to be that bad drivers issues may be the problem,

    Psu Evga nex 750b, i5 3330 msi h61ml 8gb ram....
    And the bottleneck with my current processor is mostly in ubilol games...
