Windows 10: An Interesting Situation; The Little Gamepad That Couldn't

On the edge of my sanity here, so bear with me. About a week and 20 hours of debug into a lovely bit of bit here.


I have this gamepad right. Which isn't a gamepad. It's a CaptoGlove. Unsure forum policy on links to other companies so, pop it over into Google if you're curious. Glove that tracks your motion, can use it like a Joystick.


In theory.


So anyways, thing connects through Bluetooth and has this app, GSuite right. Bluetooth connection is solid. I know that, because the App displays all I want and way more, at this point.

Good stuff. Solid non-solid/wireless connection. Great. Except, it isn't, or I wouldn't be writing this right? Ok to the point. I've installed different firmware, manufacturer applicationsGSuite/for the glove I've:

• Disabled Fast Boot
• Cleared out and re-installed my USB Drivers and HID under Device Manager
• Set power settings to maximum and fully disabled all sleep optionsforgot how I did it now but, pulled up one of the drivers and disabled some option about putting a device to sleep
• Ran the bloody Calibration 34 times over the various attempts
• Screamed obscenities at the Test window while the GSuite app shows everything working like a damn peach. A really, really nice peach.

Way I see it there are 2 options. Of the 20 HID drivers installed I might have mis-clicked and installed number 17 generically named driver and not number 21, which little did I know was in fact the bugger giving me issues.

Manufacturer mentioned it might be a Windows driver issue, as the app is showing all the right values. You know the point where you've tried so many things the details get fuzzy and you're not sure if you've done a thing or not? Right well, I'm there. So kind stranger if you've made it this far, please rattle off any ideas you might have, no matter how far left or right of field they are!

Issues with Cortana and Interests (WP 8.1 GDR1)

Same issue as well...

• "My suggestion well is dry. Try back later or add some more interest". When I click on interest I get "We can't get to your interests at the moment, but you can try again in a little bit". I get the same message when trying to add an interest.

"We couldn`t create a new partition or locate an existing one."

Try this:

Before you get to that message, press SHIFT + F10 to open a command prompt.

Run diskpart.
At the diskpart prompt, run these commands:

list disk

At this point you should see the SSD as disk 0. If it has another disk number, use that number rather than "0" in the next command.

select disk 0
clean
exit (to exit from diskpart)
exit (to exit from the command prompt)





That should clear the contents of the disk. The entire disk space should then show up in Windows setup as "Unallocated Space" as in the screenshot below.

 

Gamepad for lumia 730

I am using Lumia 730 from 2 months. I need a gamepad for asphalt 8, nova 3 like games. Suggest me some good gamepad.
