Windows 10: How to disable zip folders in Win10 1909?

How can I disable Explorer's built-in zip support in Windows 10 version 1909?


Unlike in prior versions, trying to remove the relevant CLSID references in the Registry doesn't work - the CLSID keys themselves are protected, and deleting the keys that reference them triggers Windows to recreate them on a reboot.


The left-hand folder view pane is completely useless when expanding a directory full of compressed files such as my Downloads folder.

I have like 30 or more folders and everyone of them has only one single zip file.
How can I extract all zip files inside of all folders?

You can use the Extract option to transfer the files from a zipped folder to another location. To do this refer the steps mentioned below:

1. Navigate to the location of zipped folder.
   
2. Right click on the zipped folder and select
   Extract All, and follow the instructions.

Folders with zip files

just go to the root folder and do a search for all zip files, then select all and extract where you want.
