Windows 10: Windows Mail not showing attachments

As the title says I'm having issues with windows mail.

When I try to send me a mail with attachments from a browser chrome the app doesn't show the attachments even if I'm sure it having them.

The attachments are of maximum 4 MB so that's not the problem and I tried various formats jpg and xls files.

If I login the mail account from the browser the mail have the attachments but if I look at them from Windows Mail they have no attachment. Other people send me attachments with no problem.

I noticed this yesterday and I think I used to send me other mails with attachments without any problems so something must have changed in the settings with new updates?

Can you tell me how to correct this? Thanks.

• With which Email account you're facing this issue?
• What is the file format of those attachments?
• Did you tried accessing the account on Web browser?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted mail app settings. As an initial troubleshooting, I suggest you to try the below steps and check if this helps.

I suggest you to Run the App Troubleshooter -This tool can automatically identify and fix some problems with the
Windows Store and check if that helps.

If the issue still persists, try the below steps.

Change the Sync Settings in the Mail App and check.

• On Search, click on “Mail” to open the Mail App.
• Click on “Settings”.
• Click on “Accounts”.
• Click on your email account from the list of accounts.
• Select the option “Email” under the section “Change mail box Sync settings”.

To attach a document file on an email, you can follow the step given below:

For Windows 10 Mobile:

• Launch to File Explorer app.
• Press and hold the file that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select Outlook Mail on the suggested applications.

For Windows Phone 8.1:

• Download and install
  Files app.
• Launch Files app.
• Tap and hold the document that you need to attach on the email, and select
  Share button.
• Select the Mail app on the suggested applications.

Winmail on win 10 doesn't show attachments

• Just to verify, are you having issues with the built-in Mail app or with the
  Outlook desktop app?
• Does the issue happens when you are also logged into your web mail (Outlook.com, Gmail.com, etc.)?
