Windows 10: Computer hacked. Files stolen.

I have a new computer. I tried to transfer files from old laptop to new computer using Dropbox. Transfer didn't work I don't think. Tried to reach Dropbox. A support service appearing to be from Dropbox appeared. I clicked on it only to hear I couldn't get my files back unless I paid $300 which I don't have. I have tried every possible way to reach a person at Dropbox with no success. My computer security service, TotalAV, is NO help. My new computer is now hacked and Total AV no help with that. I need advice as to what to do.

Hacked computer

My computer was hacked and I lost my admin rights. I tried doing a recovery, but that failed. Incomplete. Can't get to lock screen anymore

Any suggestions?

 

Hacking tools were stolen from NSA - Almost all Windows affected

WinBeta reported that MS responded and some security fixes are available...

Hacked?

That's the correct procedure after you've been hacked ... if you were really hacked. You should be sure, because you'll need to do a lot more than that if you were really hacked.

If you have another way to read and post messages here, take the affected computer off the internet until you're sure if you've been hacked.

Unfortunately, there are plenty of ways for your personal data to be stolen, even if no one else has touched your computer.
