Windows 10: Windows Migration Assistant.

Anybody know how to work the migrant assistant. I'm trying to get my windows 10 files to my macbook air using this program. I've downloaded it, and tried to install, but it just sits there saying it's installing, but no progress shown after 3 hours! HELP!

Migration Assistant

I want to transfer my files from my PC to my new MacBook Pro. I've downloaded the migration assistant but when I attempt to run it, it says Windows Mail is open, but it's not and I don't use Windows Mail. Then a window pops up that says to make a choice
between repair or remove the migration assistant. I've tried both but seems to work. So my next thing is to try to remove or close Windows mail. How do I do this or how do I get migration assistant to work?

For us to isolate the issue and better assist you regarding your concern, we would like to ask some additional information:

• Does it happen every time you use video call on Skype?
• Have you done any changes on your computer prior to the issue?
• Have you tried updating any drivers?

Migration assistant

I am not able to install migration assistant on my Windows 10 computer. I keep getting the message that I need to close down Edge but it is not open. I have installed and uninstalled migration assistant many times including shutting down my computer
and restarting it again. I would appreciate any help I can get.
