  1. Extreme Issues with OS Keep Coming Back

I have had 0 issues with my PC up until a couple of months ago, otherwise it worked flawlessly for over two years. At this point I'm extremely confused by this issue, so I'll be trying to provide a ton of information so that I can hopefully get this resolved. A couple of months ago, my PC suddenly started experiencing issues. Task Manager wouldn't close programs and would stop working itself, not be able to close or function, etc. This has usually been the first sign that something is wrong for me. After this, a myriad of other issues crop up. SOME apps will not open, only function as background processes, which cannot be closed/restarted because task manager doesn't function. The OS search bar won't respond, windows settings will freeze, even the wi-fi button at the far right of the toolbar will not load. I can't recount all of the issues, but more or less, everything suddenly stops working.

My first response was to completely wipe all of my drives and do a fresh install of Windows. This did not work. Even with only chrome installed on a fresh system, the issues persisted. Confused, I tried looking at my hardware. I thought that it might be an issue with my SSD/boot drive. Some forum posts I came across suggested just unplugging my SSDs for a while, plugging them back in and trying it out. This did work for a while. I don't know why, but everything seemed to function. And then suddenly it failed again. So I thought, it must be my SSD housing Windows. I unplugged the corresponding drive, put it away and tried again with a fresh install on a different SSD that I had already been using. This worked 100%. For a month. And now the issues are starting again, task manager is failing, apps are having issues, internet connectivity isn't functioning as usual. So I thought that somehow it might be the SATA cable that I had been using, because both versions of my boot drive had used the same cable. I took that out, it worked for a couple of days, and then it has started with these issues again.

I cannot figure out what is going on. CPU/Ram/Motherboard issues might make sense, but I cannot understand why the issue has been temporarily resolved due to my troubleshooting. I'm really at a loss for what to even try or do. Any help is appreciated.

It should be noted that I have tried, system restores, repairing windows both with programs downloaded via the internet, and via the terminal. None of these had any effect, but I'm still open to similar recommendations.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

That should make it boot into Windows 10 without your intervention.
