    Windows 10 Freeze at restart screen


    Hello everyone,


    Apologies if there are any errors in this message, english is not my main language, i will try to do my best to explain my issue. I hope you can help me out with this.


    So basically my computer freezes on the "Restarting" screen everytime i try to restart it, whether manually or restarting for updates for example by updates almost always at 30% for some reason.


    The loading circle turns a few times then stops and it's freezed. I have to turn the power off and restart again manually.

    Very annoying to restore the system, as it needs to restart during the procedure. I could do it on the repair screen, and i thought i was done with this issue, but after a few days it came back even after i restored again... it's going to make me crazy


    A part of this, my computer is working well and Windows 10 is up to date.

    Freezes on restart


    Device is up to date, however from either the Start menu or Command prompt Windows freezes at manufacturer splash screen on restart, requiring hard shutdown,
    This returns even after clean install of Windows 10

    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
