  1. Touchpad cursor delay and crackling speakers

I bought a Zephyrus GX502GV around late 2019. It was working perfectly until two months ago. My touchpad' has slow response time from time to time. So does the audio. from time to time it just pops and crackle. It goes back to normal on its own within a few minutes to an hour. I tried restarting the laptop, updating the driver, and rolling it back. I never download anything malicious. As much as possible, I use the Microsoft Store to install softwares. Exceptionals were game platforms such as Steam, Epic and Origin. It never fell or went through something rough so I think it's not a hardware issue. I am not sure though. ASUS isn't reaching up to me through their customer services. I can't go to the store due to current events. Please help me fix the problem. Also, is there any chance for me to grab a replacement unit for this? It has really been frustrating me.

  2. touchpad delay!!!!!!

    Hi Glenn,

Touchpad delay on your device might be due to the sensitivity setting that impacts scrolling and other finger gestures, and may exhibit a jumpy cursor. To resolve this issue, we recommend downloading and installing the latest touchpad driver from the
    manufacturer's website.

If the issue persist after downloading the latest driver, we suggest changing the synaptic device settings by following the steps below:

    • Open Mouse Properties.
    • Select Device Settings tab and click on the Settings box.
    • Expand the Pointing menu and then expand the Sensitivity menu.
    • Select Touch Sensitivity and slide the sensitivity meter from
      2 to 1.
    • Click OK.

Let us know if you find this helpful.

Cannot change sound quality frequency/Crackling speakers

Issues with my lenovo ideapad 330s Laptop:

    • Crackling speakers sometimes they are silent or in other cases they stay quiet no matter the volume.
    • Crackling in earbuds
    • cannot change sound frequency (grayed out)
Note: The speakers were fine when i got it but after I reset windows theyve started crackling. Ive tried fixing my crackling speakers by:

    • uninstalling/reinstalling device drivers
    • reinstalling windows
    • creating new accounts
    • disabling every driver one at a time to see if that changes anything
    • checking internal cabling to make sure no wires are touching
I still have yet to try changing sound frequency because its grayed out

PS: nothing important is on the computer i dont mind losing anything.

Help would very much be appreciated.

Touchpad cursor delay and crackling speakers

    Touchpad Delay Options Not Found

    Hi Jade,

Are you having issues with touchpad delays after typing? This issue might be due to a feature of your laptop. This feature is intended to prevent users from moving the mouse by mistake while typing.

Kindly refer to your laptop manual on how to adjust or disable this feature. It is usually found in the touchpad settings in Control Panel. Let's try checking for the setting again by
    following the steps below:

    • Click Start.
    • On the search bar, type Control Panel, and click on Control Panel from the results.
    • If you are in Category view, click on Hardware and Sound.
    • Under Devices and Printers, click on Mouse.
    • The mouse and touchpad software window will open. Look for any settings related to palm tracking, touchpad sensitivity, SmartSense or Palmcheck. The name of the setting varies because it
depends on the touchpad driver provided by your laptop manufacturer.

If you are not able to see these settings, we suggest that you contact your laptop manufacturer. Additionally, check if there are updated touchpad drivers for your laptop.

Let us know how it goes for us to assist you further.
