Windows 10: Network - resolving host

    Recently my PC network connection has started becoming slower and slower. I sit waiting for up to 10 minutes for pages to open while the any browser shows "Resolving host".

    I have now found that restarting the PC and Windows solves the problem, but after a couple of days the problem re-occurs. I have tried ipconfig/flushdns but it makes no difference. I have cleared my browser's cache to no avail. I have spent hours chatting to my network provider and have re-configured my router etc. When it all works OK I get a guaranteed 70Mbps download but with this problem I am down to Kbps speeds.

    Is this a buffer or cache problem? Is something filling up and not getting emptied?

    I'm sick of looking at blank screens!!

    I appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue.

    • What is the make and model of your computer?

    I suggest you to refer the link below suggested by JayCap on November 19, 2015
    and perform the troubleshooting steps suggested and check if that helps.

    Hosted Network Supported: No after upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1

    No internet access over hosted network in windows 10...

    There is nothing problem.

    All you need to again reset your Shared Network Setting.

    Steps to Fix this Issue-

    1. Start your Hosted network.

    2. Right Click on your Ethernet Connection.

    • Click on Shared Tab.
    • Now Select your Newly Created Shared Netwok like - Local Area Connection* 10
    3. Now you see that you get Internet in your connected devices through your shared network.

    4. The Hosted Network Problem is resolved.

    There is nothing problem.

    All you need to again reset your Shared Network Setting.

    Steps to Fix this Issue-

    1. Start your Hosted network.

    3. Now you see that you get Internet in your connected devices through your shared network.
