    Windows 10 blue screen kernel security check failure upon use of USB camera


    No matter what USB webcam I use or what USB port I use I'll always get blue-screened out.


    As long as I don't try to access it I have no problem when either of the cameras are plugged in, not in use then - no matter if I'm using Zoom, skype, or even any "test your webcam" site I'll immediately upon attpting to access the camera the pc plue-screens out.


    Error is:

    kernel security check failure


    I did all I could to make sure the driver is right.

    I can watch in device manager as I plug in the cam under imaging devices a new item shows up called USB 2.0 webcam.

    I double click on it and select the driver tab make sure that the updated driver is up to date and it says the best driver is already installed USB 2.0 webcam.


    I saw in another thread that one of the first steps would be to go to the windows mini dump file and put it on my OneDrive to get started where someone can help me. Well I can copy the file over but I cannot read it even though I'm an admin.


    That's as far as I've gotten so far.

    PS both webcams work without a problem on a different Windows 10 PC
