My computer continually starts in, Automatic Repair. When it gets to, choose keyboard, the keyboard and mouse are unresponsive. I have tried ps2 keyboard, and a usb keyboard. Neither work. Pressing the caps lock key on the keyboard, its caps lock LED lights at first then stops responding as auto repair is loading. This suggests it is a bug in the auto repair software.


I do not have a Windows 10 disk as I upgraded from Windows 7. I have the Windows 7 disk and license.


This is unbelievable that safe mode is no longer available by pressing F8.

To assist you further, let me ask.

  Are you suing wired or wireless keyboard?
  

If you are using wireless mouse and keyboard this devices will not work on startup repair environment. I would suggest you to use external wired keyboard and mouse and check if it work.

Windows 10 - Choose Your Keyboard + Automatic Repair loop

Sorry for the late response. Both the keyboard and mouse are wired. The computer will start but after the boot screen is showed, it will go to automatic repair and show the 'choose your keyboard' screen. The keyboard and mouse work on the boot screeen,
but don't work afterwards.

 

Automatic repair loop, Choose an Option screen but keyboard unresponsive

Everytime I boot my computer it always go for automatic repair, then Choose an option, but then the keyboard is totally unresponsive.. my keyboard is totally fine.. how do Get rid of this annoying automatic repair? I've tried to boot with installation disk,
but it goes back to Choose an option screen with the keyboard being unresponsive again.
