A folder named "Removable Storage Devices" suddenly on my desktop

Wow! We're all getting this pop up appearance right after the update. I was just going through some of my "Document" files and edited some of them. That's when I noticed that "Removable Storage Devices" folder appear on my desktop. I saw all of your
posts about this, then refreshed my desktop, then it disappeared. I wondered if it had something to do with 2 of my document files that are .jpg files. I tried this again, and only when I went into a .jpg file to edit, is when I get that folder to appear
on my desktop. I refreshed, then it disappeared again. Annoying, but I'm not going to permanently remove it until I know if my PC really needs it.

    Hello,

A software conflict is one of the possible causes why you're getting a folder
"Removable Storage Devices". To help you resolve your concern, kindly follow these steps:

    • Perform a clean boot. You may refer to this
      link
      .
    • Use the
      System File Checker tool
to repair missing or corrupted system files.
    • Restart your computer. If the issue persists, kindly delete the folder. But before doing so, please create a backup file just in case you encounter a data loss.

Do let us know if you have any other concerns.
