Windows 10: Windows 10 Mail app doesn’t show attachments

My HS teachers are sending me PDFs of the list of things we did in class and online class this year (since I am a class representative), but the Mail app from Windows 10 doesn’t show attachments. None of the mail accounts I have connected show attachments (hotmail, gmail, gsuite student)

Every time a teacher sends homework I have to download it from the webmail, but I prefer the Mail app because I have all 3 accounts in one app (inboxes are not linked together)

I tried to use Thunderbird but hotmail doesn’t register because I have 2FA and the gsuite school account doesn’t register because the domain (the school name) is invalid for it.

I reinstalled the app three times and nothing changed.

Do all of you have this bug too in the Mail app? How can I solve it?

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

• With which Email account you're facing this issue?
• What is the file format of those attachments?
• Did you tried accessing the account on Web browser?

This issue might have occurred due to corrupted mail app settings. As an initial troubleshooting, I suggest you to try the below steps and check if this helps.

I suggest you to Run the App Troubleshooter -This tool can automatically identify and fix some problems with the
Windows Store and check if that helps.

Change the Sync Settings in the Mail App and check.

• On Search, click on “Mail” to open the Mail App.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
