Thank you very much ZigZag, I don't know why the rules didn't transfer across to Windows 10 but your suggestion has worked perfectly.

    Thank You Again

    outlook redirect/forwarding rule

Hey so I would try to do this on the Exchange server itself by Transport rule instead. Give this a shot.

    Scenario 1

    1. 1. Login to the Exchange Management Console and expand Organization Configuration on the left.
    2. 2. In the middle pane, choose "Transport Rules", then over in the right pane, choose "New Transport Rule."
    3. 3. Give it name, then on the conditions page, check "from users that are inside or outside the organization" and "sent to people."
    4. Underneath set "from users that are Outside the organization" and sent to "pick Mailbox1"
    5. Hit Next the on the Actions page, check "redirect the message to addresses" and underneath set redirect the message to "pick Mailbox2"
Review the rule. It should look like:

    Apply rule to messages

from users that are "Outside the organization"

    and sent to "Mailbox 1"

redirect the message to "Mailbox 2"

    7. Next, Next, then New to deploy it.

    Scenario 2

    1. Create the External Mail Contact (Expand Recipient Configuration on the left side pane, then select "Mail Contact."
    2. In the right most pane, choose "New Mail Contact"
    3. Leave New Contact selected, then hit next.
    4. Enter Name details and an Alias like "external", then hit edit to the right of "External email address" and enter the target address like "*** Email address is removed for privacy ***"
    5. Next, then New.
    6. Now go back to create a new Transport rule
    7. It will look the same as Scenario 1, but with the Scenario2 details so like below
    Apply rule to messages

from users that are "Inside the organization"

    and sent to "Mailbox 1"

redirect the message to "External mail contact"

Make sure both rules are enabled and you're good.

    Hope this helps

    -Good luck
