    Hey guys,

    So basically, ever since i reinstalled windows 10 version 2004, the store keeps saying that i have 22 app updates, if i select Get updates, they just sit there pending for a week, if i try to force an update, the circle just keeps circling and its driving me insane!!!!

    I tried
    wsreset
    force reset the app and terminate
    force stop the app with powershell and reinstall the store app
    update windows

    Nothing seems to work, i also have a game installed on my D Drive, and when trying to reinstall the game app, windows wont let me select the D Drive for the location, i was hoping it would be like steam and "discover" the files already there and ofcourse i have the folders WindowsApp and WpSystem that i cant open or touch.

    You can use Windows search. Just search for *.* on a desired drive. When list is done just arrange them by size LOL.

    You can do it via command line as well and make an output text file showing files and their sizes (but without arrangement)

    Try the methods below and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

    I suggest you run the Windows Store app troubleshooter and check. Follow the steps:


    • Press Windows Key + X.

    • Click on Control Panel.

    • Select Troubleshooting.

    • On the left pane, click on View All.

    • Click on Windows Store apps to run the troubleshooter.
    Method 2:

    If the issue persist, I suggest you to reset Windows Store cache and check. Follow the steps:

    • Press Windows Key+ R.
    • Type wsreset.exe and hit
      Enter
      .

    Please reply us on the status of the issue to assist you further.
