Windows 10: Change lock screen slide show time interval & transition

How can I change the time interval for the lock screen slide show? I want Windows to pick a random picture from my folder every day or every couple of hours. And if the picture changes while the lock screen is visible, I want them to cross fade. There is Advanced settings in Settings => Personalization => Lock screen, but these settings are not advanced enough to change the most basic settings for a slide show like interval and transition... Kind of stupid, isn't it?

There is no setting in Windows to set the time interval on a slide on the Lock Screen

There you will find a registry edit that will allow you to change the slide timing interval on the Lock Screen, the only thing to remember when doing that is the 1000 is equal to a second . . .

Is there a way to set the timing of the Lock Screen slide show interval?

Is there a way to set the timing of the Lock Screen slide show interval to change photos every 24 hours?

When I personalized the Background, I was given a choice for when I wanted the photos to change (from 1 minute up to 1 day). I'm looking for the same feature for the
Lock Screen.

The closest thing I've found (while not being what I'm looking for) is a choice given under
Advanced Slide Show Settings to turn off the screen after the slide show has played for 30 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, or not at all. I mention it only because it gives me a tiny glimmer of hope that what I'm looking for might actually exist.

Since switching to windows 10 from windows 8.2 I have had problems in running slide show in lock screen. The slide show will only operate when the screen timeout setting is set to 1 minute. All other time settings give a black screen at timeout. Am I missing something?
