After some time i cant rename any folder by duble click or rename from menu on all my HDD/SSD, exept on desktop.

On desktop i can rename by click or from menu any folder, or create one new and able to add name but not in any my drive. Only after restart all work perfect until 4-5 hours is coming again

To assist you better with your concern, we would like to know the following:

    • Are you getting any error messages?
    • Did you make any changes to your computer prior to the issue?
    • Does this issue happen to all the folders in different locations on your PC?
    • Have you tried creating a new folder on your desktop and rename it?

  3. Copying Windows 10 to new SSD from existing HDD while upgrading to SSD from HDD.

    Hi,

I'm thinking about updating my 2 years old laptop from HDD to SSD. Since my HDD is still in working condition, I plan to use it as an external HDD. I have a pre-installed Windows 10 Home on my laptop.
Is it possible for me to transfer it to the new SSD while upgrading? If then please tell me the steps to follow.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Arjun.

    Can't rename folder.

    Hi Howard,

It is possible that the difficulty renaming your folder is due to access/account limitation or a recent change was made on your computer. For better assistance, please answer the following questions:

    • Are you getting an error message when trying to rename the folder?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
    • Can you send us a screenshot of the "Public" folders?
