  1. How to change security policies in win 10 home

Hi, so I found a mmc snap in for editing security policy settings templates. Well, I decided to create a template to change some of these settings, but I don't know how to enable my settings. I know that in windows pro that you use secpol.msc, but win home does not have this. Howerver the home edition of windows does have a security policy template editor mmc snapin. Can you use this to edit security policy settings? If so how, and if not why is it even there?

    :)

Win 10 networking to an XP computer has changed

I read your other post and it seems you're wanting us to enable SSP / NTLM on the XP machine. Is this what you were suggesting?
    1. Click Administrative Tools.
    2. Click Local Security Policy > Local Policies > Security Options > Network Security: LAN Manager authentication level.
    3. Click Send LM& NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated.
I'm not sure what SSP is? I saw references to SSO is that what you meant?
