cFosSpeed + Perfectdisk + Process Lasso Pro = Bad?

Is there anything wrong with this combo? I need to know suggestions about combining these 3 applications. I have the option to exclude applications in all of the programs, but do I need to worry? I feel like I'm suffocating Windows 10 with all of these programs running all the time, but I've had these programs for years. I just noticed that my SSD with Windows 10 shows 98% health in my SMART scan, so I'm wondering if this program combo is the problem.

    :)

Do I still need Process Lasso?

Do you need Project Lasso? Very unlikely.
Would it be of benefit? I doubt it.

Project Lasso works primarily by dynamically changing process priorities. This had potential with a single core CPU. With such a system problems can easily occur when you have more than one CPU bound process. Windows itself dynamically changes process priorities but is quite conservative in it's approach while Project Lasso is more aggressive. The reason for the conservative approach is because there are situations where this can go very wrong with unfortunate results. As the author of Project Lasso said, this kind of thing is very difficult to get right but very easy to get wrong. I am very skeptical of programs that claim to improve performance or stability. Microsoft has devoted an enormous amount of time and effort to this and nobody has done more testing. Has Project Lasso got it right? That would be very difficult to properly evaluate and I am not inclined to devote that much time.

But things change when you have 2 or more CPU cores available. In this case process priorities matter little except for some unusual situations. The more cores you have the less it matters. To be clear on this, process priority has little to do with how fast a process runs. That was never it's purpose. Priority matters little unless there is competition for CPU resources and with 2 cores that will be rather unusual. With more than 2 cores it would be quite rare.

Project Lasso provides quite a bit of control and if you understand how Windows handles thread scheduling well it may be of benefit. That level of understanding does not come easy.
