Windows 10: Minecraft windows 10 wont start

Hi,

This looks similar to another thread but isn't quite the same

Since the nether update my minecraft windows 10 edition gets stuck at this screen:



also, i need to say that i got minecraft windows 10 free when i got minecraft java. I once let it load to see but 2hours later nothing had changed.

my pc has 16GB ram so that cannot be the problem.

This button has appeared, but no idea if it is involved.

new laptop minecraft wont load

Bought a new laptop, windows 10. cant access the xbox app and minecraft is already installed but it wont open, any help or suggestions appreciated. thanks

I suggest you to check the compatibility from the below:

As the game is not compatible then you need to install the game in compatibility mode and check for the issue to do that you need to follow the steps provided below.

• Locate the installer.exe or setup.exe file in your folder.
• Right-click on the file.
• From the contextual menu, choose Properties.
• Under Compatibility tab. Choose the version of Windows you want to emulate.
• Select the "Run this program in compatibility mode" checkbox. Run the installer

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server
