  1. Does one Microsoft account connect to everything?

Help please! I guess I'm confused now that I've got a new Windows 10 laptop computer. I want to be the administrator.

I still have a desktop Windows 10 computer on which I'm an administrator. I had a Skype account I don't use anymore. I don't use OneDrive. I don't use my Outlook.com online email account, unless I'm required to. It seems to be my primary alias. My gmail account is my secondary alias.

I have a recent version of MS Word. My 20 year old version of MS Office is good enough for Excel and PowerPoint.

If I delete my Microsoft account in Skype and OneDrive, am I going to inadvertently delete it for everything else too? Like, will I be killing off my Outlook account and my administrator accounts for logging into my computers?

I was setting up some passwords today. Maybe I made a mistake, but I got the impression that perhaps I have one Microsoft account because after I changed a password in one Microsoft service, it seemed like my password didn't work anymore in another service. I don't want to mess things up worse than I suspect I already have.

Is there a link where I can learn how to manage all this? If not I guess I need someone to lead me by the hand please.

    :)

Change Microsoft Account Details in Administrator Account

Hi Daryl, welcome to the Ten Forums.

It's quite easy in fact, simply switch the account in question first to a local account, then switch back to a Microsoft account, this time using your wife's MS account credentials.

    Tutorials:
Notice that before doing this you need to remove the new additional MS account on the PC, the one you created with her credentials. Windows allows only one user account for each email address, if the new account exists you cannot switch the original administrator account to an MS account using the same email address.
