Windows 10: Name that shows up "as From" in recipients email

I use Windows 10 Mail to manage 4 email accounts a corporate work, wife's Gmail, my Gmail, and an old family AOL. Whenever I compose and send an email while "clicked into" my Gmail, the email recipient will see my wife's first name Deb as sender instead of mine Leo..@mail.com. This only happens from Windows mail and only with my Gmail. If I send from Gmail on my iphone everything is good. If I go directly to Gmail.com everything works perfectly. The setting/association bug seems be only in my desktop Windows Mail, but I cannot find any solution. I've checked the Contacts for a "Deb" that might be linked, but found nothing suspicious. Frustrating

How do I delete all previous recipient suggestions when sending email.

When I compose an email and start typing in the TO line, a huge list of previous recipients shows up.



They're not emails in my contact list.



How do I delete this list of suggestions?

 

Not getting the contact names in Windows Mail app while composing Email

I compose an email in Win 10 mail. I click on the "To". The popup shows "Suggested recipients", not the usual People app list of names .... and I cannot do anything with names in the suggested list, even if I select one.

This has to be People app related, right?

Email sent from Windows 10 Mail shows senders email address, not name, in recipient 'From' column

Hi there

I've just tried to start using Windows 10 Mail and set up a new account exactly as it is on my very old Outlook 2003 client. It works in that emails are sent and received. I have also set the email settings so that the 'Send messages using this name' is
correct as my name, not my email.

However, whenever I send a message, either to say Outlook (cloud) or another email address on the old Outlook 2003 client, the 'From' is now showing the email address it's sent from instead of the name of the person sending it.

If I switch back to the old Outlook 2003 client and do the same emails ( to Outlook cloud and to another account on Outlook 2003), the name of the sender is correctly displayed in the recipient 'From' column and not the email address.

Anybody have any ideas on this?
