    For the last few days I've been having major BSOD issues when I boot into Windows. This morning I attempted to do a clean install and called Microsoft for assistance. I spoke with a woman who guided me through the installation, but halfway through the installation I experienced another blue screen. When I attempted to continue the installation she informed me not do anything further and she would call me back within an hour. Having had two other experiences in the last three years when I was told I would receive a call back from Microsoft but didn't, she reassured me she would definitely return the call "within an hour" after she spoke with some other reps re: my situation.


    Once again, four hours went by and I heard nothing back. This "I'll call you back in an hour" response seems to be becoming a common excuse for Microsoft reps to just get you off the phone because they don't know how to solve the situation or just plain don't want to deal with it. During the last couple of years I've called Microsoft support and this has happened three times now. I guess today's rep just wanted me to stare at my computer with a half-installed version of Windows 10 waiting days her to call back or did she even give a damn?


    There's no excuse to treat customers like this. If she didn't know how to deal with the situation, she could have passed it on to someone else. But she didn't even have the courtesy of returning my call like she said she would and just tell update the status of the ticket like she promised she would. I'm finding several postings on this board complaining about the same thing. This is incredibly poor customer support, and it never would have happened if I called Microsoft 5 or 6 years ago.


    Microsoft support has really become really unprofessional. They clearly aren't training their reps very well.

    My mocrosoft lumia 540 mobile phone doesn't ring when receiving calls..i follow this step but it didn't solve this issue....at the end the only way i found is power off the phone ..please suggest me how to resolve this..

    Problem with Windows 10 Install Second Level Support - Promises to call me back and does not

    This is in reference to Microsoft Tech Support Case Number 130 849 4773.

    For the past 5 days I have been attempting to deal with a failed install of Windows 10 on my Dells XPS 8500 desktop PC. Although I have now discovered that Microsoft knew that this hardware would not support Widows 10 they told me it was OK to upgrade.

    I have been working for 3 days to have my system go back to Windows 7. Second level support promised me a call back yesterday at 110am. No call. I called yesterday at Noon. I was promised a call back in 45 minutes. No call. I called yesterday at 1pm and
    was promised a call back. No call. I called this morning at 10m and spoke to a Level 2 Support Supervisor. I was promised a call back in 45 minutes. No call.

    Why does Microsoft support promised call backs at specific times and then not call back or even call back to change the appointed time?

    Is this a common problem with Microsoft Windows Level 2 Support????
