Windows 10: Recent update, no internet

Tried plugging manually and through my wifi, only my PC has issues. Reinstalled network adapter, turned off firewall, nothing. Trying to uninstall the update to see if it works, otherwise I'll have to rollback. Any other solutions? Sick of this garbage OS.

Edit: uninstalling update didn't work.. guess I'm rerolling.

Windows 10 internet Explorer Crashes / Freezes after most recent update

We suggest you to disable Internet Explorer from optional features and enable it again. To do so, follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R on your keyboard, type optionalfeatures
  and hit OK.
• Uncheck the checkbox with Internet Explorer 11 written against the box and restart your computer.
• After restart, check the box in optionalfeatures and restart again. Then, launch IE.

Internet Explorer Bookmarks Wiped Out after recent Windows Update

As an initial recommendation, I suggest you to identify the particular Windows update you are referring to.

To do so, you need to check the settings through Windows update. Follow the below steps.

1. Open the Settings Charm with the shortcut Windows Key

2. Click/tap Change PC settings.

3. Click on the Update and recovery and click on the
View your update history.

4. You will now see a list of your installed Windows Updates. If you click on any one of the
"Successfully installed on (date)" links , you will find more details for that update.

Next, I suggest you to first browse to the favorite’s folder location and check if the favorites contains all the favorites that are missing from Internet Explorer favorite list. If listed, please follow the steps:

• Press Windows key + E to open File explorer view
• Select C drive and click on Users.
• Select your user account and click on
  Favorites folder.
• Double click on the links that are saved on the
  favorite folder.
• Opening the links will take you to Internet Explorer. Once the webpage is displayed, you may open the favorite bar on the Internet Explorer and click on
  Add to Favorites. This will add the webpage back to favorite bar.

I suggest you to set Internet Explorer as default web browser and restart the computer and see if it helps.

Disable Proxy

Sometimes using proxy to connect to the internet may cause issues while connecting to the network.

Follow the steps below to disable proxy:

• Press “Windows Key” + “R”.
• Type “inetcpl.cpl”.
• Go to Connection.
• Click on LAN Settings.
• Check the box which says Automatically detect settings.
• Uncheck the box under Proxy server.
