    I get the following window:

    Server Busy

    This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose ‘Switch To’ to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

    Then is has three buttons, Switch to, Retry, and Cancel. Cancel is greyed out, and the first two don't help. "Switch to" lets you open other programs, the open, but the Server Busy window comes back in a second or two. Retry does nothing

    This happens when I am using Turbocad 2020 and older versions to open old files that have Wordperfect files inserted as OLE objects.


    Been having the problem for years with multiple machines and Windows versions.

    I have a Suface Book I get this message: Server Busy This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "Switch To" to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

    I also bought my Surface Book with Windows 10 in July 2017.

    I have the same exact issue it started occurring after Microsoft installed the drivers for the Surface Dock I purchased at a Microsoft Store.

    By reading various blogs this issue comes up from loading different software also. It's very common but there does not appear to be a fix.

    What is the fix?

    Server Busy

    This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "Switch To" to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

    I have a Suface Book I get this message: Server Busy This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "Switch To" to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

    I purchased a New Surface Book in July 2017 with Windows 10.

    Every time I first start the Laptop I always get this message in a dialog window:

    Server Busy

    This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "Switch To" to activate the busy program and correct the problem.

    I have to choose the "Switch To" option on the dialog box, it opens the Windows Start menu (located in the lower left corner) and does nothing.

    How do I stop the message from occurring?

    It appears a lot of people have received this message over the years with no solution!!
