Windows 10: DISM complains about 2 DLLs missing in log, log file attached

Windows 10 1909 x64, build 18363.900.

I used the script here:

Batch Scripts / Programs.

It's the script:

Find_ANY_DISM_Log_Errors_ALL.bat

----------------------------------------------------

To check for DISM complaints and it appears that it keeps looking for:

SiloedPackageProvider.dll and MetaDeployProvider.dll

DISM looks for others, but this isn't a PE installation.

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

CCleaner Professional | Try the world’s most trusted PC cleaner, free!

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

 

Missing LOG files


dalchina, tried your suggestion which ran for less than 2 mins and provided the following:-

The DISM log file can be found at C:\Windows\Logs\DISM\dism.log

Huge Log File!!!

Ive had ATI tool on for a long time now probably over 2 months, and had the 'write temps to log file' activated. Now this sempt like a good idea when i first selected it, but it would seem that ATI tool has been logging the temperature every second the computer has been on for over 2 months!

So my log file was like 120MB big!!!! Thats a 120MB notepad file!!!! Considering that each character is 1 byte big, thats a lotta characters. *Big Grin

Has anyone else had this option enabled and forgot about it too? I would like to hear about other peoples log file sizes if they have! Maybe there needs to be some sort of warning about using this for extended periods of time? lol. Its a good job im not short on HDD space *Wink
