  1. BSODs with different error codes while gaming

    Hi Everyone.

Lately, I've been suffering quite a few Stop errors BSODs while playing games on the Unity Engine. I have had the following stop codes:

    • WHEA uncorrectable error
    • Machine check exception

I have ruled out the following causes:

    • Failing hard drives Moved games to different hard drives
    • Graphics drivers Clean install of newest drivers
    • Malware Run a full scan
    • Excessive temperatures Manually checked temperatures. All within normal ranges.

Minidump files can be found here.

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

    :)

BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

Hello and welcome to TenForums BSODs with different error codes while gaming :)

The log files that you provided only show one crash dump file so there is not a lot of information to go on. Furthermore the bugcheck code is not one I have ever seen before!

The stack recorded in the dump includes some references to storage and the analysis suggests memory corruption and so with nothing else to go on I would suggest that you do a check on the hard disk and RAM. This maybe the same as you have already run but it would be good to see the results.

    Try CHKDSK
    using option 3
    Then

    Diagnostics Test [/i] HDD TEST
    *Arrow Run HDTune to
    • check the health,
    • scan for errors, no quick scan but full scan
    • run a benchmark.
It may take some time, but please take the time you need to perform it properly.
When above is done please make screenshots of the following
    • the health,
    • the error scan,
    • the benchmark incl. following
      • transfer rate,
      • access time,
      • burst rate,
      • cpu usage.

Similarly with a memory test it would be good to post the results after you have run memtest86+ for a minimum of 8 passes

You indicated that many more crashes have occurred, however, they are not being recorded. Please make sure that your system is setup to record crash dump files: Configure Windows 10 to Create Minidump on BSOD

If the BSOD errors are all different it does tend to suggest a hardware problem. Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Here you go, the HD tune scans, did memtest but after 1.5hrs only one pass had been finished so will leave it on tonight again for more passes.

BSOD during gaming, plethora of different error codes!

Hello, I have recently moved from windows 8.1 to 10 after buying a new system (almost), and have been having issues ever since.

    Windows is 64-bit Pro.
Problem is that during gaming I get the dreaded BSOD.
**Before I say anything else, I should mention that I did get a brand new board, ram and processor when I bought Win 10, so I am not 100% sure the issue is with the software, but due to a number of things (mentioned below), it seems like it is.

    1. I have run memtest, HD tune scans etc to check as much as I can the hardware and not a single error has come up
    2. The error only occurs during gaming (so far and as far as I can remember). Did stress tests and benchmarks and all went absolutely fine but still crash during games.

Now, the issue at hand: system starts fine, no problem booting up or down. When I start a game, I get a bunch of different errors, some of which are:
    • Kernel data inpage error
    • Faulty hardware corrupted page
    • System service corruption
    • System exception not handled
And a couple more. I'm guessing if it was the ram or something, the error code would've been the same one.

Sometimes they happen 5mins into the game, sometimes it takes a couple of hours.
Please let me know if you need anyt other info as well, attached is the file that is mentioned in the rules.
